Director of Education and Community Engagement

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Director of Education and Community Engagement and invites qualified parties to consider this very rare senior leadership opportunity to join the region’s premiere opera company and participate in our mission to produce musically extraordinary, theatrically compelling operas. This is a full-time, salaried position that refers to the General Director regarding artistic goals and objectives and reports to the Executive Director regarding strategic alignment with overall Company goals and administrative accountability. The functions and responsibilities for this position are broad and include development and direction of the Company’s Education programs and activities in order to both build and expand future audiences and enrich the experiences of adult audiences already familiar with opera.

Donor Stewardship Manager

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Donor Stewardship Manager. This is a full-time, salaried position that reports to the Associate Director of Development – Annual Fund and is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and implementation of more than 100 donor benefits and events each year to cultivate and steward both donors and donor prospects. Executes high-level fundraiser-net events that meet their revenue and expense goals while raising Seattle Opera’s profile in the community. Manages vendor relationships as a key element in overseeing a budget.

Development Operations Manager

Seattle Opera is accepting applications for the position of Development Operations Manager. This is a full-time, salaried position within the Development Department and is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Development department, including: data entry practices and procedures, campaign and annual giving reporting and analysis, gift processing, financial forecasting and analysis, acknowledgement and tax summary processing, and pledge billing procedures. The Development Operations Manager serves as a liaison between the Development department and the Finance, IT, and Facilities departments.
