Sarah Kleeman makes her debut on Seattle Opera’s mainstage with these performances, although she is already familiar to Seattle audiences from her work with Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program, for which she sang Tisbe in Rossini’s Cenerentola last season. Kleeman has performed the role of Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program, recently finished an apprenticeship at Des Moines Metro Opera, and sang Hansel in the Guild Opera of Los Angeles’s production of Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.
