Bio
Donald Eastman, who has designed sets for Seattle Opera Young Artists Program’s productions of Britten's Turn of the Screw and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, makes his mainstage debut with Verdi’s Falstaff. His other collaborations with director Peter Kazaras include productions for the San Francisco Opera Center and Opera UCLA. Upcoming productions include Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites for The Juilliard School and Puccini’s Tosca, Copeland’s Tender Land, Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro and Handel’s Tolomeo, which comprise the 2010 season at Glimmerglass Opera. Eastman received an OBIE Award for Sustained Excellence and is a grantee of the NEA/National Opera Institute.
