Evan Rogister made his Seattle Opera debut conducting Bartók's Bluebeard's Castle and Schoenberg's Erwartung. As the conducting fellow at Houston Grand Opera, Rogister conducted Puccini's Bohème and Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel. He studied at the Juilliard School, the National Conservatory in Paris, and at the Peabody Conservatory. Rogister recently made his debuts with Germany's Bochum Symphoniker and with the Prague Chamber Symphony Orchestra. This fall, he begins a two-year tenure with Deustche Oper Berlin as principal assistant conductor, where he will lead multiple productions, including Mozart's Zauberflöte and Puccini's Manon Lescaut.
