Bio

Baritone Jeremy Kelly, a member of Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program from 2004 to 2006, returns to the company for his mainstage debut in the 2007 production of La Bohème. He reprises Schaunard for Kentucky Opera later the same season and has previously sung the role for Cincinnati Opera. Other roles to his credit with Cincinnati Opera include Moralès in Bizet’s Carmen, Baron Douphol in Verdi’s Traviata, and Mandarin in Puccini’s Turandot. He also performed Marcello in La Bohème in student performances with Kentucky Opera as a member of that company’s young artist program. Coming seasons include his return to Kentucky Opera for Ping in Turandot. Kelly holds both a Master and Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music.
