Joanna Foote holds a Master’s of Music from UCLA. A former member of the New Zealand Opera Chorus, Foote recently performed in Operetta Burlesque with Opéra Français de New York. Past performances include Susanna in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro, Nannetta in Verdi’s Falstaff, Monica in Menotti’s Medium, Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Le Rossignol in Ravel’s Enfant et les sortileges, Polly in Weill’s Threepenny Opera, and Julie Jordan in Hammerstein’s Carousel. As a concert soloist with New Zealand’s Bay of Islands Singers, Foote has sung Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater.
