Joseph Rawley


Joseph Rawley made his Seattle Opera mainstage debut in 2004 as Billy Jackrabbit in Puccini’s Fanciulla del West and has since returned for the Innkeeper and the Naval Captain in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Curio in Handel’s Julius Caesar. He has recently appeared with Opera Idaho as Dr. Bartolo in Rossini’s Barbiere di Siviglia and as Dulcamara in Donizetti’s Elisir d’amore, Skagit Opera as Schaunard in Puccini’s Bohème, and Dayton Opera as Dr. Bartolo. As a member of the Young Artists Program for two seasons, Rawley sang Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Figaro in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro. Rawley will be seen next at Seattle Opera as the King in Verdi’s Aida.
