In addition to the Canadian Opera Company’s production of Bluebeard’s Castle with Erwartung, director and production designer Laurie-Shawn Borzovoy’s design collaborations with Robert Lepage include The Technological Summit for the Quebec Region and the inaugural event for Ex Machina’s theater studio in Quebec. Borzovoy’s recent work includes the Pierre Elliott Trudeau feature in Canadian Broadcast Corporation’s production of The Greatest Canadian, and multi-media performances of Fossil and Propaganda, both documented by TV Ontario. Other design projects include My Time Ain’t Long in Telluride, Colorado; The Weight of Absence at the National Ballet of Canada; RSVP Broadway in Toronto; and Into the Woods for Canadian Stage Company.
