A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, Megan Hart’s operatic roles include Almirena in Handel’s Rinaldo, the title role in Donizetti’s Rita, Lauretta in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Tytania in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, the Mozart roles of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, and the Poulenc roles of Elle in La voix humaine and Blanche in Les dialogues des Carmélites. Upcoming engagements include the title role in Handel’s Alcina with Bourbon Baroque and Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Music Academy of the West.
