Sally Wolf made her Seattle Opera debut as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute in 1987, a role she has also sung at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera Covent Garden, Vienna Staatsoper, Théâtre du Châtelet, Grand Théâtre de Genève, and San Francisco Opera. Wolf has returned to Seattle as Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Mimì in Puccini’s Bohème, Elvira in Rossini’s Italiana in Algeri, Clorinda in Rossini’s Cenerentola, and the title roles in Moore’s Ballad of Baby Doe, Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, and Bellini’s Norma. She has sung Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Frankfurt and Austin, and with New York City Opera, where her credits also include the Queen of the Night and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. Wolf has appeared as Konstanze in Mozart’s Entführung aus dem Serail in Berlin, Amsterdam, Santa Fe, and Austin, and as Bellini’s Norma with Los Angeles Opera and Florida Grand Opera. With Opera ORchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall she has sung Amalia in Verdi's Masnadieri. Other roles include Giunia in Mozart's Lucio Silla at the Salzburg Festival and Violetta in Verdi's Trovatore in Strasbourg.
