Bio

Seth Malkin made his Seattle Opera debut as Pistola in Verdi’s Falstaff in 2001. Before that, this Ohio-born bass had been a member of the State Theater Regengsburg, where his many roles included Figaro in Mozart’s Nozze di Figaro and Truffaldino. His U.S. credits include performances with Santa Fe Opera; Gilmmerglass Opera; and New York City Opera, where he sang Timur in Puccini’s Turandot and Zuniga in Bizet’s Carmen. In 2004 at Seattle Opera, he sang Truffaldino in Ariadne auf Naxos and Larkins in Fanciulla del West at Seattle Opera.
