Thomas Rolf Truhitte made his Seattle Opera debut as Don José in Bizet’s Carmen in 2004. Since then, he has sung Tristan in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde and Florestan in Beethoven’s Fidelio with Virginia Opera, the title role of Wagner’s Parsifal in Genoa, Max in Weber’s Freischütz in Metz, and Siegmund at the Manaus Music Festival in Brazil. Other credits include thirteen leading roles with San José Opera, Erik in Wagner’s Fliegende Holländer with Minnesota Opera, the title role of Wagner’s Lohengrin in Spoleto, and Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly in Richmond. Upcoming engagements include Froh in Toronto and Bacchus in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos in Monte Carlo.
