Todd Thomas made his Seattle Opera debut as the title character in Verdi’s Falstaff. His repertoire includes the Verdi roles of Amonasro in Aida, Iago in Otello, Germont in La Traviata, Ezio in Atilla, Renato in Un ballo in maschera, and the title role in Rigoletto, among others. He has performed Count di Luna at Chautauqua Opera, Opera North, Manitoba Opera, and Indianapolis Opera. At the Metropolitan Opera, Thomas has performed Dr. Metivier in Prokofiev’s War and Peace. Recent performances include Scarpia in Puccini's Tosca at New York City Opera, Chautauqua Opera, and Florentine Opera Company; Tonio in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci at Opera Omaha; Rigoletto in West Palm Beach and Austin; and Amonasro in Pensacola. He has appeared in more than 50 performances with Sarasota Opera, including Jack Rance in Puccini’s Fanciulla del West, Enrico in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Ezio, Scarpia, and the Verdi title characters in Falstaff, Nabucco, and Macbeth. He has performed at New York City Opera, Macedonian Opera, Nashville Opera, and Santa Barbara Opera, among others.
