Join us as we celebrate the Bicentennial of one of opera’s greatest composers, Giuseppe Verdi! This special evening will showcase the talented singers of Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program, the Seattle Opera Chorus and the Seattle Opera Young Artists Program Orchestra performing various scenes and acts by Giuseppe Verdi. The full-length concert features selections from Verdi’s masterpieces: the first act of La Traviata, the last act of Rigoletto, and various scenes from La Forza del Destino, Nabucco and Don Carlo. More than just a concert, Viva Verdi! is an exquisite evening of music filled with passion, romance, and unforgettable melodies. This grand celebration of Verdi’s bicentennial is conducted by the Young Artists Program, Music Director, Brian Garman and staged by the Young Artists Program, Artistic Director, Peter Kazaras. Performed at Meany Hall, University of Washington Campus
