The Mikado Summer Camp

Boys and girls in grades 4 - 8: Our popular collaboration with Seattle Public Theater continues with this Manga-style production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Mikado. Enjoy four weeks of music-making and theatrical fun this summer along Green Lake with two performances at the end of the camp.

Dido and Aeneas | Teen Opera Players
July 28 - August 29, 2014

Teens will delve into this English Baroque opera based on Virgil’s Aeneid. Our highly skilled faculty will guide teens in character development, healthy singing, 18th Century choreography and Baroque performance practice. Rehearsals at McCaw Hall in Seattle Center with two performances at the end of this opera workshop intensive.

NEW! Dido and Aeneas Ensemble | Teen Opera Players

Can’t fit the full Dido Workshop into your schedule, or just want to be in the chorus? This  workshop is for you! Perform in the mixed chorus (SATB) for this complete opera based on Virgil’s Aeneid. We have some guys already registered, but we could always use a few more for the lower parts! This is an intensely fun workshop, though shorter that the workshop for our solo roles. Our highly skilled faculty will guide teens in healthy singing, acting, and Baroque performance practice for this ensemble. Rehearsals at McCaw Hall in Seattle Center. Performance with the full Dido Workshop on Friday Aug 29 at 7pm.

Youth Opera Chorus Camp

Boys and girls entering grades 3 - 6: Our YOCC camp returns! Boys and girls will spend their summer in this fantastically fun camp learning songs and scenes from many different operas in many languages. We’ll stage the scenes with choreography and present them in two performances at the end of camp.
