Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship provides a way for individuals and corporate sponsors to express their particular area of interest by financially supporting a specific production, event, or activity. Sponsorship gifts contribute to donors' overall Annual Fund donor level and can qualify donors for additional benefits and recognition.
Sponsorship benefits can be customized to meet an organization's branding objectives, client entertainment needs, and philanthropic priorities. For further information, please contact Institutional Giving Manager Sarah Michael at 206.676.5536 or sarah.michael@seattleopera.org
Production Sponsorship ($100,000 and more)
Production sponsors receive substantial recognition, including their name featured prominently in the program, on the production banner and on the supertitle screen in McCaw Hall; on the Mercer Street marquee during the entire performance run of the opera; and across nearly all publicity materials. Production sponsors receive exclusive benefits custom designed to meet their interests including a reserved table for their guests in the donor lounge, rehearsal invitations exclusive to production sponsors, opportunities to meet the design team and the cast, and special photographs.
Production Partners ($25,000 and more)
Seattle Opera is very grateful to the donors who give restricted gifts in support of its productions. These minimum gifts of $25,000 will be recognized in the program book and on the supertitles screen.
- Performance Sponsorship ($25,000)
Performance sponsors provide underwriting support of a single performance during the season. Performance sponsors are recognized in the program, on the production banner and website, and on the Mercer Street marquee on the day of their performance.
- Lead Artist Sponsorship ($25,000)
Lead Artist sponsors support the work of a single artist- a singer, director, designer, dancer, or conductor who appears in one of the season's operas. Lead Artist Sponsorship also includes personalized benefits and a chance for personal interaction with the artist, as well as recognition in the program and on the website.
Young Artist Sponsorship ($5,000 and more)
Seattle Opera's Young Artists Program is among the finest in the nation, providing exceptional training for emerging professional singers and pianists. A variety of sponsorships exist, including the opportunity to sponsor the Young Artists' spring production ($30,000), a Young Artist in performance ($10,000), underwrite the program ($5,000), and additional opportunities. Sponsorships include special recognition in selected Young Artists Program materials.
Event Sponsorships ($5,000 and more)
Seattle Opera's entertaining and educational events draw donors behind the scenes to experience the art and business of opera. Sponsorship opportunities include community events, Family Day, Crown Donor Dinners, Gala 2013, and more. Sponsors receive special recognition on-site at events and in selected materials.
