A MAGNIFICENT EPIC WITH AN ENGAGING TWIST. The splendor of ancient Babylon. The yearning of a nationless people. A king’s pride, a god’s wrath, a pair of star-crossed lovers. Verdi’s epic account of King Nebuchadnezzar comes to Seattle Opera for the very first time with an inventive new production that puts the orchestra at the heart of the action and brings you closer to the singers than ever before. Thrill to the “Va, pensiero” chorus, marvel at the grandeur, and connect with the characters on a whole new level.

KINETIC COMEDY WITH HEARTFELT HUMANITY. Charming, lighthearted, and endlessly enjoyable, Mozart’s most popular opera sparkles with genius. There’s never a dull moment for a lascivious Count and his entourage as they navigate the ups and downs of “the crazy day” preparing a wedding – or two! General Director Aidan Lang brings an “engrossing, astute, and unmissable” (The New Zealand Herald) production to McCaw Hall for his Seattle Opera directorial debut. Genuinely touching, often hilarious, ever sublime, Mozart’s miraculous marriage of music to comedy delights like no other.

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I USE PAYMENT PLANS?

Convenient automatic payment plans allow you to spread your payments over several months, an option popular with our subscribers paying by credit card. It's flexible and free—no interest or additional service charges.

Payment plans are available when you order by phone, by mail, or in person at our Ticket Office. At a minimum, your payment today must include the $10 service fee. Payment plans may only be set up using a credit or debit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We are only able to accept one credit card for this payment. The card must be valid through one month past the last payment scheduled. Your final payment must be scheduled two weeks prior to the start of the first opera in your season ticket package.

You may change the amount and date of each payment if you like. Today's payment must meet the minimum amount criteria described above. You may contact the Ticket Office to change the arrangements of your payment plan at any time as long as your final payment is scheduled at least two weeks prior to the start of the first opera in your subscription. With our convenient automatic payment plan there is no need to call or send back an invoice to us. You will automatically be billed on the days you have initially set up for the payment plan.

MY SCHEDULE CHANGES A LOT. SHOULD I STILL BUY SEASON TICKETS?

YES! Season ticket holders can exchange their tickets for any other performance of the same opera with no fees. Just call us any time after you receive your tickets and before 4 p.m. on the day of the performance (or 4 p.m. on Saturdays for Sunday matinees). Exchanges can also be requested online until 24 hours before the performance. There are no fees for ticket exchanges; however, upgrade charges may apply if you are changing to a more expensive day of the week.

If you already know you cannot make one of the dates in your series, you may request an exchange at the same time you buy your 2015/16 subscription. After you purchase, simply follow up with an email to tickets@seattleopera.org with which opera(s) you wish to exchange and the new date(s) you want.

HOW MUCH WILL I SAVE?

When you purchase more than one performance at a time through one of our season ticket packages, we offer substantial savings to you: up to 41% off the individual tickets. Combine that with payment plans for a low monthly payment!

CAN I BUY SEASON TICKETS FOR LESS THAN $200?

Absolutely! Our most affordable days of the week to attend are Wednesday and Friday evenings. Three-opera packages on those days start at just $156.

Under 40? Consider joining BRAVO!, our club for young professionals. With a $79 annual membership fee, you'll receive 50% off season tickets, free intermission receptions, and invitations to parties all year.
