Past Events

Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Over 200 guests joined us as we raised the final beam on the steel structure. This space will soon house expanded education programs, improved rehearsal and craftsman rooms, community spaces, and so much more.

Friday, September 29, 2017

Seattle Opera staff and special guests as dove deeply into the design and construction of this state-of-the-art civic building at this enlightening presentation and reception that was open to the public.

Tuesday, June 20, 2017

Seattle Opera invited our whole community to the site of our new civic home, adjacent to Marion Oliver McCaw Hall, where opera will be unlocked for all. This building is so much more than an administrative facility – it will house dedicated space for rehearsals, artistic production, education, and community engagement, welcoming more people than ever before to experience the joy of opera.

Mayor Ed Murray, King County Executive Dow Constantine, Seattle Opera Chorus performers, and our campaign team joined us to share about this exciting project and officially break ground on our construction site!
