Prelude Brunch Menu
A special note about the menu from chef Nathan Batway
We are very excited about our new seasons menu. The fall in the Pacific Northwest always offers such a bounty. Some of my personal favorites that I’m looking forward to are an all-natural grass fed Prime rib. The rib is marinated in balsamic and Worcestershire, garlic and herbs. It is accompanied by locally grown roasted purple potatoes, pickled fresh horseradish, and roasted young carrots. Black cod is in season. We’re going to pan sear the fish in brown butter and serve it with a ruby yam puree and fresh corn salsa. For our vegetarians I’m excited to offer Agedashi Tofu. Agedashi Tofu is a fried tofu dish immersed in dashi broth, and topped with daikon radish, scallions, and ginger. Our desserts are moving into the harvest season and are featuring two of Washington’s most prominent crops. Apples and pumpkins of course! An apple mousse will top a cinnamon sable cookie. A pumpkin tart will round out the desserts. Our pumpkin tart will feature pumpkin mousse in pate sucree and white chocolate glaze.
